and while turner did have complete ownership of (most of) those libraries, once warner bought out turner there were different priorities for what CN should be. as an example, Scooby Doo is now completely managed by Warner Animation, despite originally being a Hanna-Barbera property. CN Studios, as the successor to HB, cant do anything with that brand, and CN has to pay Warner to air the shows. Warner has taken outright control of most of the old properties at this point, making CN reliant solely on new content
