>>117982509>The uniformity of the steel girders, pipes, pressure mechanics, bolts, design of the drill headSo you clearly don't know what precision manufacturing is. None of those things need dimensional accuracy on the order of a thousandth of an inch (which interchangeable parts do). They can be produced by things like rolling mills, forges, and welding that effectively handle large chunks of steel but do not achieve high degrees of precision. There is no interchangeability required. Parts are made to fit a specific spot, and fitups can be tweaked as needed to meet the overall design requirements. Nothing there needs machine tools.
>We're talking basic comprehension of basic cannons here.Which is, again, an alien technology using principles unknown to the FIre Nation.
> I never said assembly lines of tech, you retard.Neither was I. I was talking about things relevant to the thread topic.
>Don't be an idiot when I was referring to their tech development OVER THE SERIES.The onscreen events in the series span more than a century. None of it involves the development of technology, just its use. The development and manufacturing takes place offscreen.
>THERE LITERALLY IS BECAUSE THE MECHANIST DESIGNED THE AIRSHIP AND DRILL. THE DRILL WAS LITERALLY ONE OF THE DESIGNS HE HAD AT THE AIR TEMPLE.And how long was the Mechanist at the Air Temple designing/building things? Unknown, but probably years. And he personally wasn't building all the Fire Nation stuff.
>I was using her as an exampleYou said
>>117981763 "Could they stick them on an airship or tank? Maybe if Azula was around." As if Azula were the only person in the Fire Nation who could have thought of that, not as an example. Why would the engineers who would actually be responsible for such things even talk to Azula about that sort of thing?
>you literally ignored itBecause, while you've been repeating that part of what I've been saying, what you've failed to grasp is how it relates to the thread topic
