>>117807487>avatar fared it betterSure, but everything after Avatar has been a steep drop. In some cases (Tron, Symbionic Titan) it's because the show got axed so it's an unfinished story. But looking at the "action" genre, She-Ra's the best we've gotten since Avatar. The other shows either didn't come together half as well in the final analysis (Voltron, TMNT 2012, Korra) or else were promising but just didn't get an ending, so it's impossible to say how well the show would compare.
>If you want some show to compare it, just use New He-Man (Jetlag He-Man) instead. It's pretty fucking blatantly better than New Adventures of He-Man. And 2002 He-Man. That's a low bar. Those shows were really quite bad. Virtually unknown things like the 1996 Flash Gordon cartoon were better than those He-Man shows.
>>117807603>The premise was stupid: the bad guy won the war...yet didn't take over the planet for some reason.he won _A_ war, he didn't win "the war for control of the planet." He conquered a bunch of land, but got stuck at barriers like the sea gate and the whispering woods. Sometimes losing a war just means going "fine, TAKE that stupid land, it was shitty land anyway," and retreating to where you can defend from.
>Hordak and Catra got away with everythingThe virtually-a-god chick that killed Horde Prime for them, saying "they helped me kill the bad guy. And I'm marrying the one on the left. No, my left."
