Disney is fucking stupid and I don't know the schedule the showrunners are working off. I view it as entirely possible that they were planning a 3 season 1st summer and Disney pulls the plug after season 2 because they want to try a new direction or something. That said, I think we'll probably be back on earth with the S2 finale. Show's been moving pretty fast.

Networks randomly canceling popular shit is not unheard of.

so in the early concept Luz was nearly an adult and a dyke who had a fight with Amity and ended up on the Boiling Isles. In there, Eda pressured Luz to get a job because she didn't like the idea of supporting a vermin and Willow had the role of Amity and Amity had the role of Luz's mom.

This is pretty dark and hard to stomach. I gotta say I like the final product better.

Oh, for sure. A time skip for Owl House would be interesting because it opens up the possibility of Luz being away from home for so long that going back to earth might cause issues for her. Also, you get to see the characters improve and develop their skills, which is the best part of shounen type shows that revolve around school life.

Also, exploring a possible bi/gay relationship as the characters get older and more mature is actually something not really done yet in animated cartoons and would unironically make Owl House somewhat gamechanging.

Well, Dana promised us Island Exploration so that means everything will be more open but still I think they will stay in the Owl House.
I don't know about Luz going to the school again.

So in the original pitch Luz was an older teen who had a fight with her girlfriend and then ending up in the Boiling Isles. And Eda was a harsher character.

I'm interested if the girl at Luz's school with Amity's beta design will have any future plot significance. Like if they get another portal Luz can use her newly developed social skills to make friends in the human world too.

problem is the show going dark like that would go against the tone from season 1, and even if it would be cooler to see the show get a darker direction, it wouldn't fit with the overall story.
You can have the show get darker but not to a point where the past seasons seem like completely different shows because a lot of people who love the show for what it is right now will notice the sudden shift from what they liked

He doesn't have Kiki send troops after them either. And I think at some point in their conversation he even mentions that he admires her courage. It's literally one dude and possibly a few copycats spamming the Amity threads. I enjoy the owl house and it's discussions and I have always been fine with having one thread up at a time for it, or two at most if the old one is hitting the bump limit. Same. I was always a generation behind with consoles. When my mother finally bought me a nintendo 64, the playtstion 2 was already out. When she bought the first xbox, the 360 launched just a couple of months later.
Still, I didn't gave a fuck. A fucking loved my consoles. I wish I could enjoy videogames as much as when I was a kid. I bought a pc gamer 2 years ago and I have only used it for age of mythology.

There is no what I think, it is what it is. Canonically in the show the B.I.is a real place. If Luz was shooting smack or sitting in her room browsing image boards 8+ hours a day that would be escapism. But instead she is exploring a new world, learning about it, going on adventures, and making friends with people (in person not online).
