I was kind of shocked when it ended on episode 5 though. I thought it was like 8 episodes minimum.
When I searched the archive for a thread of it the very second post I saw about the thing spoiled major developments by referencing the source material so that was kind of a huge mistake on my end.
But it was pretty nostalgic to watch. The world and its mysteries including the show's characters and character drama felt like something I would have been super into in the middle of my teens.
