Plus Sari spends most of the series being a small child among badass alien warriors, making it kind of feel like the spiritual ancestor to Steven Universe.
But after years of Bayshit faces and plots it’s acceptable, the toys were known for fantastic engineering in their transformations that left almost no kibble or backpacks, and it had a very decent plot that managed to feel G1 while still being refreshingly new.
Sari being a Transformer and having such a close connection to her “father” and Bumblebee managed to make the obligatory human character more interesting than normal, on par with the Armada kids or the Super God Masterforce ones. She’s also a lot better than the Prime kids.
You also have the fact that it gave us Bulkhead, Slipstream, and remembered that Junkions and human villains who aren’t just the US military exist.
