>>117039275Twitter. Yeah, seriously, don't listen to these fuckers who think it's all the same and that it's a hivemind, it isn't. Just a few tips to navigate it in your search for comic buddies:
>Avoid comicsgate and "SJW" callout brigades, these fuckers made their identity to attack each other and don't actually care about comics, and you don't want a hivemind>Look for specific tags, follow artists and writers you like, check their replies>Slowly cozy up to those who you share an opinion or two with, soon you'll find regular people to follow you and share with>Group chats are fun at first but soon you'll realize most are dead and most of the discussion happens on main>Avoid minors, they're often stans and rarely shut up about fancasts. But also avoid them in general>Don't be afraid of making hot takes about stuff you like or dislike, just don't be a total sperg and bring 4chanspeak there, that's a repellent>Wednesdays are PERFECT to link up, everyone is talking about comics so you can slip into discussions amicablyThose are the basics, there's a reason why people post Twitter bullshit in here, it's because the discussion is actually happening THERE, not here. But that also doesn't mean the bottom tier shit you see posted here is what people are talking about over there, it's just that this place is full of outragefags who see the freedom of the site as an advantage (which is is, in its own way) but the bulk of the fandom is on social media.
Oh and last but not least: don't feel pressured to suck up to anyone, always talk in equal standing, ignore what the dumbasses here say.
