30 years have passed since this movie and I can tell you that this is one of the best Disney underrated movies ever. And it's better than both versions of the Ducktales series. And for several reasons:
>great animation and style (although the coloring turned out a little bad)
>great story
>great adventure
>Scrooge was a bastard there
>Webby wasn’t boring and she was funny with that Tea party
>Gene the Genie (later he will be the inspiration for Genie in the movie Aladdin, although he is a Genie from an Arabic fairy tale) who was funny but acted like a man seeking salvation from someone
>Huey, Dewey and Louie were great
>Launchpad McQuack is funnier than in the Ducktales series, but still better in the Darkwing Duck
>stupid Dijon
>excellent villain (Merlock the Magician)
>there were also dark scenes there
>Gene became a real boy
>the beginning and end of this movie are excellent
>Yes, the only bad thing is that there was no Donald Duck in that movie.
