Zuko almost died in a blizzard and was one-shot by Katara who is an even weaker manipulator of ice than Todoroki is while under the moon. Todoroki doesn't even need line of sight to freeze the ground and anything touching it solid near instantly like he did to that entire training building and that was at the start of the series if I recall. Firebenders use refrigerators to keep Firebender prisoners and unable to bend. Unless Zuko can fly like Aang, he's going to end up freezing to death.

Hell, just look at how Katara vs Azula worked out. Katara completely shut-down Azula by freezing them both solid, even though Azula had the same breath of fire technique that Zuko had and was even empowered by Sozin's Comet, she was still helpless and at Katara's mercy, unable to thaw herself out while Katara chained her up.

Hitting hard means nothing when you can't get hit back. Todoroki is a glass canon that would die instantly if Zuko stabbed him with a sword. Either of them could get the kill in one hit, but Zuko is fast enough to more reliably land that hit.

A fight I'd like to see on a thematic level is Sokka vs Usopp although it's an absolute stomp in Usopp's favor.

It's hard to think of many other characters that would thematically match up as well for Sokka or Usopp and I imagine depending on how long the show goes they'll probably try to do a sizable portion of Luffy's crew and Team Avatar.

Zuko was effected by ice when in a controlled environment meant to restrict fire bending. When the sun rose he broke out of most of his body being covered in ice. Todoroki just freezing the battlefield isn't going to be as effective as you think. I won't deny one solid attack could do Zuko in, but as I said Todoroki is in the same exact boat and dealing with someone far faster than Stain when it took him and two other people to take Stain down.

Sorry, but Todoroki’s ice can allow him to make icebergs, and colder it gets, harder for Zuko to hit, weakening his attacks plus he’ll lose his stamina, allowing Todoroki to murder him

Stain had his quirk, is faster, and Todo couldn't just ice nuke because of bystanders and they were trying to save someone. Todoroki can simply ice aoe and win since it will be 1v1. Even if Zuko can "react" to it doesn't mean he is going to dodge it given just how much ice Todoroki generates

I wouldn't really say Usopp's that strong, but he definitely has way better feats than Sokka especially when it comes to durability. I don't imagine Sokka taking a multi ton bat to the face and continuing the fight and that's something Usopp pulled off all the way back in Alabasta. It's a shame the match up is so one sided because thematically I can't think of a better match up for either character.
Other matches I've seen suggested for Usopp are Sniper from TF2 which is still probably a stomp for Usopp and Shikimaru who is actually probably too much for Usopp.

Katara is one of the weakest martial artists in the series and why she gets wanked as all-powerful just because she got the jump on Azula in a moment of good fortune really confounds me. I appreciate how retarded DB can generally be assigning high-hypersonic or light speed reaction to everyone thinking "everyone must have a minimum reaction assuming they saw the attack being launched then dodged it". Instead of "In this fight a character sees the enemy is pointing a gun at them. They take evasive actions seeing said aim before or even as they pull the trigger.". But here catching a lightning bolt in a move that requires you to meet the lightning with one hand, control where the path of the lightning goes in your body and out the other hand seems pretty decisively "reacting to" the lightning bolt. Even before getting into the possible predictive trigonometry that a jumping interception required.

A lot of Usopp's Pop Greens are huge, and in many cases can attack autonomously. The Sargasso alone is like the size of a kraken. He can't blow away a small city in one shot like a lot of the other characters but he's got a lot of utility, and is basically the summoner of the group. With a decent vantage point he could probably take on a small army no problem.

Still not answering what she could feasibly do against Vader or defend against simply getting force choked or rag dolled through a building. Keep in mind the guy tanked Sidious force lightning so at most it'd be a minor inconvenience like it was it was to him in Fallen Order. Azula wouldn't even be able to use her lightning anyway as that requires certain forms and she'd be too busy being fucked by the force. It is simply a shitty match. Azula VS Shego or Kim Possible makes more sense

azula can generate orbs of electricity 10 ft in diameter with almost no effort, if luke can face vader in a fight Azula definitely can

Star Wars D20 gave stats to most of the major Sith Lords, all of which were insane. You know the Jedi Mind-Trick that characters used to get people to believe whatever they wanted? They have that, but even more broken. There's a lot to consider here, but I'm giving it to Zuko. He can probably redirect Shoto's fire, which he currently sucks at. Furthermore, Shoto has no short range game, whereas Zuko can actually fight hand to hand. The only real benefit Shoto has is overwhelming force in both fire and ice, but both lack finesse.

Exactly. All the arguments for Star being multiversal are pure conjecture with no hard evidence outside of the fact that the wand is stated to have the POTENTIAL to do such things and that in the past dimensions have been destroyed that we have no idea how large they even were. Star never preforms to anywhere near that level and she never is even given the opportunity to reach her prime before magic is destoryed. We never even see her destroy small dimensions like the club they went to.

I feel like Death Battle picks and chooses with a lot of comic feats. They mention that Thor is strong enough that the shockwaves of his attacks destroy planets and that Ultron took a hit from him therefor he is that durable, but neglect to mention that feat at all in Thor vs Wonder Woman where his big strength feat listed in that is the World Serpent which is significantly less impressive.

OP characters in general are superhuan by avatar standards.
Just in terms of raw strength, durability, healing and stamina.
Usopp is quite sturdy and when it actually matters his tricks and sniping pay off.
He's only weak because in his universe people can move faster than the eye can see and slice mountains in half with a single swing.

I played the games a lot as a kid but it felt like there were few feats and point of references.I know Orochi was supposed to be world-wide threat that could only be defeated by specific circumstances, and in SNK vs Capcom 2, Rugal absorbs Akuma's power and becomes some crazy new form, which i assume scales up from Akuma.

Lmao no. Steven's biggest feat is strength and his transformation and most of his powers are tailored to work on gems, including fusion, mind shit, pink powers, etc. In his own universe he's powerful but outside of it he gets stomped by tons of people. Even his defenses are arguable because we don't have many instances of him using them against non-gem attacks, but at best they'd earn him stalemates. Not to mention Steven isn't exactly bright or a combat genius, in fact his combat technique is pretty shit and reliant mostly on brute forcing/tanking.
Star absolutely 100% shits on him, best he can do is stall.

At best we'd have threads when the episode's announced and then released with maybe threads for the weekly previews
There were exceptions like Ben vs Hal and Thor vs Wonder Woman but overall, we still had breathing room

His abilities are directly tied to his gem and gem powers are tailored for working with gems. Reminder that Blue's aura did shit to Greg and Connie. Some of his abilities extend to being usable on humans thanks to his human half (like fusion) but it's obvious the bulk of them are gem-oriented. Even if that wasn't the case, none of his feats are very impressive compared to the shit Star was dealing with along the show and you forget that all it takes to literally kill him is one good hit to the gem. Eclipsa's spell would 1-shot him.

You are really forgetting a lot of shit. Steven's bubble shield in Movie was strong enough to take this massive explosion that dwarfed the hill nearby. Easily a nuke level explosion and that was before he unlocked Pink Steven which even without training he was able to send Jasper flying across the forest with one punch. And Steven's speed up just makes it completely unfair for a lot of characters because it negates the fact he used to have terrible speed feats.
As for Star I've said it a million times now, but Steven absolutely obliterates her. I don't feel like repeating myself on a lot of points so here is my post from earlier.

Star's only hope is hax and a lot of her hax transforming spells require a beam to hit which Steven's shield would probably be able to deflect. Even her time stop is such an unreliable one time used ability that she probably wouldn't use in most fights and even if she did Steven could just counter with speed up as I said.

Exactly. The greatest feat in all of Star Vs is isn't even done by her and there is no evidence it could be done by her. Also Eclipsa's spell means jack shit when Star has never shown the ability to use that spell or even use it to that level of destructive ability. If this discussion was Eclipsa vs Steven then maybe you'd have a point even though Steven could just dodge, but it isn't and Star doesn't have a spell that strong in her normal arsenal and that super butterfly form is something she was only able to pull off once in a special situation and never in any of the other moments she was about to lose a fight.

As I said before that was a story moment that she was never able to replicate at any point even when coming close to death (Eclipsa had to bail her out twice) and it's still impossible to measure how strong that attack is, Even if we decide to compare it to Spell With No Name that still is only mountain level and some people would argue that something like Steven's corrupted form outclasses it.
