Vaatu, while I don't mind the backstory in Beginnings as a whole, just kinda falls too much in the "just evil for being evil" thing and his personality isnt captivating enough to carry that, as oppose to someone like Freeza. Unalaq couldn't carry that slack either because he came across as just a power hungry asshole and the whole Theocracy thing they were pushing got put off to the wayside.
