You just summed up my opinion in a nutshell, it's not the worst thing ever but it's been out for such a short period of time it's hard to say anything meaningful about it at all when it may not even get to explain it's own plot fully.

It was pretty decent. The only aspect I was less than keen on was the "magic weapons" gimmick that's driving the main story. Mixing medical drama with Strange fighting people he normally wouldn't tackle with was pretty fun.

To be fair, Doctor Strange has spent very long periods of time without having an ongoing series in the past. Notice how his legacy numbering "only" reaches 400, which is hundreds of issues less than most Silver Age legacy books.

When this title was first announced I remember saying in a thread that the premise wouldn't draw in new readers and that many traditional fans would likely be put off by it. I predicted the series would be dead or revamped before issue #10.

Quicker than I thought. Also, I had at least a dozen anons replying at me that I was totally wrong. Oh well, it was ...okay while it lasted.

I thought the tattoo single issue was amazing through. But yeah a lot of it was set-up for something that likely won’t pay off, especially the bits about dr Druid unless waid manages to wrap it up in a single issue

I feel like Marvel is about ready to license out all of their newer titles, and stop publishing new comic all together.
Disney and Dark Horse could both increase sales if Disney licensed the comics for their Marvel characters to them.
