I mean, if you were growing up and your dad tells you that your mom is an alien everyday, you'd definitely ended up calling her an alien at some point and she'd definitely whoop your ass.
I think it's because it happens when she was younger before she had the ability to clean the room herself, and she just kinda got used to it. At some point, she was curious about it, but too afraid to ask because it might sounds like a dumb thing, either ended up being classified as crazy for seeing things, or ended up being stupid for asking questions, theoretically, if rooms in her world do actually clean themselves up. I mean, she's living in a magical world full of magic and creatures there! Why does a room cleaning up themselves would sound like a stupid thing? Maybe there actually is a house that cleans themselves up... oh wait that's literally Episode 11 : The House In The Woods... anyway, you get the idea.
