>>116552943/co/ is the only animation discussion place which shits on this show. It's mostly the fault of the inherent TORtanic mentality in just about every media related board. Also, being a Nickelodeon show, there is a grounded (and possibly rival network funded) interest in creating a negative online stigma against this show.
Glitch Techs weakest point was the dialogue, its clear they were trying to appeal to zoomers and Gen A, understandable when you consider its target audience. However, its dialogue was not overwhelmingly bad and still entertaining at many points. Being a video game related show, references were a given, and I found most of them to be quite clever and not overly reliant on just being a Ready Player One tier reference the source material. Most of the character designs stand out as being pretty well and the characters themselves holding unique personalities. Coomers are exaggerating the worth of Miko's design, other than having thick thighs and the occasional in-between-frames shot where you can actually see her ass curve she is not a sex symbol and is hinted at being a flawed individual (possibly suffering ADHD or some other disability). I also found the world design and music to be strong suits.
Compare this show to something like Owl House, an utterly dull and lifeless show that gets all sorts of positive modifiers to its popularity that have little to do with its substance: It's created by an animation darling's girlfriend (and they're both really just shitty people IRL), its got yet another eye rolling lesbian subtext couple to rope in twitter trannies and left-wingers, and its on Disney Channel which isn't mercilessly nitpicked and shit on for being the top dog since the 90s like Nick is.
