Oh nice, I come home and the thread is still up.
>>116534973Reporting don't give results and they got me by the balls. I left and tried to find work, but here they call your previous employers to get an idea of how you are. I never got past the interview, so I had to go back or be a bum. If I tried to not put them on my resume, there's a big hole where I did jack shit for years and yoj can't employ someone like that.
>It's only a matter of time before it's you that gets maimed.Too late. Fun fact, steel toed boots are not only designed to keep your feet safes, but also in case of a weight greater than what they're rated for, they fold inward to emputate your toes. It's so you're not trapped, and the surgeon can reattach a clean cut easier than a mash of bone, meat and nails. "easier" doesn't mean "all the time", I'm missing two toes on my left foot and the survivors are stiff and have no feeling.
To everyone it may apply for, don't think your work shoes are indestructible. They're incredibly sturdy, you can get a tank to roll on them and you'll be fine, but a sudden drop of something heavy (we're talking tons here, but check your boots' rating, for your own sake) is enough for the failsafe to get working. Check your god damn equipment, it'll save your life, or at least it'll save you from debilitating injuries. Wear your helmet, use your gloves and wearthe damn visibility jacket.
