It's not nearly as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, but it's not really consistently good either. It's an extremely, extremely fucking mixed bag of a show, and has some of the funniest and most awful episodes I've seen in a modern cartoon, sometimes coming out just an episode apart. For example, as much as it's been driven into the ground the waffles episode was genuinely terrible, while the episode where Robin fought George Washington was fucking hysterical. I think the show probably averages out to a 5/10 but doesn't have any mediocre episodes, they're either aggressively bad or some of the funniest shit I've ever seen.

No, the early seasons of Spongebob have well written jokes. Adventure Time has well written jokes. This show is simply an ADHD fest of horribly written jokes that I'm amazed anyone defends.

While it's disheartening in a way to see that Hasbro is repackaging [XXX] to be another TTG clone,i'll say there is key differences that make that you can safely ignore TTGPone. The main show is over and above everything it wasnt cut in it's prime,all the main characters arcs are done and i'd rather them trying new things (no matter how bad,trials and error is a thing) than locking themselves forever in Faust's world. Those characters you see in that TTG clone are not the one you saw on the main show. They reached "Optimus Prime" brand status, they 'll probably appear in other iterations of the show but they wont be the character you probably liked. It's important to make that distinction

I understand that Pony Life isn't the same universe as FIM (given that they put Onigiri Corner on an island).
