>>116226021I genuinely want to write some Star Vs. fanfiction one day. I hate where the show went and bitch about it a lot, but that also means I know a lot about it and have PASSION and also think there's still some genuinely interesting stuff to explore.
Mainly stuff that branches off from the canon ending in an interesting way (ex. Mina Loveberry's life as a racist stuck in Diversityland and grappling with the loss of her powers + new mortality and shaken allegiance to Solarity) or diverges from the story at a set point in hopefully a more interesting way than what we got (ex. Star kills Meteora, Eclipsa wants revenge, Star is queen while Mewni's wrecked and Moon's gone and also she's trying for racial harmony after just having killed a monster and with a price on her head courtesy of Eclipsa).
I realize these scenarios might only be interesting to me, but since I was briefly clicking through Star fanfiction (like, not even reading it, just briefly looking over summaries) and realized so many in the last year were just "but what if...WHAT IF Star didn't kill magic," I think some of the stuff I want to do in the future could hopefully be somewhat less "lol just retcon the stuff I don't like."
I even want to do very belated fanart of some of the early stuff if I can ever draw okay enough/have decent enough tools to upload some stuff I'm not ashamed of one day.
