after discovery and picard i'm 99% confident it'll be trash with tons of inconsistencies, even with itself. it'll be pushing modern politics super hard and end up just being a general dumpster fire. major grin on YT will have tons of new material though

In that episode Kirk not only has sympathy for the Devil, but also keeps hem from being cast out.

Honestly, in hindsight Star Trek 5 wasn't much of a stretch. It was cannon that Kirk was friends with the devil, why shouldn't he fight God?
