>>116142251>also they never actively try to kill each other. even during the portal thing all Catra wanted was for Adora to stay in the fake dimension with her. so I don't see where this "toxic relationship" accusation is coming fromSo you are really going to play down the entire 4 seasons of them being enemies and fighting each other? 4 entire seasons of them portraying Catra as this big bad bitch who manipulates everyone and fucks with the heroes, but I guess none of that matters anymore because Catra didnt actually succeed in killing Adora. Lets forget all about the times she kidnap and hurt her because Adora just "got over it".
You are focusing way more in the emotional aspects of the relationship and completely glossing over the actual events of the show. Catra WAS the main villain of the show and did a lot of bad shit that is proceeded to not matter anymore since once the new "big bad" comes, all the other villains actions are irrelevant and they get a pass because they helped in the final fight. As if they wouldnt do it anyways regardless of their feelings for the sake of their own survival.
You cant have two people fighting for 90% of the entire show to the point where its made clear they are past the point of reconciliation only for them to hook up in the finale because of "gay rights". Adora and Catra wherent just two schoolgirls in a fight, they where people who fought one another in a war, but I guess none of that matters because Adora finds nothing hotter than being antagonized for a long time only for them to do a 180 at the last second showing how "they truly care deep inside". That's textbook toxic relationship.
>its ok because she helped themFine, then that's enough to let her live, not enough to hook up with her. Adora has met like a billion other girls who she could have a healthier relationship with and yet she chooses the one who hurt her the most. Absoluite garbage storytelling
