>>116045484lol General Glory, I think everyone was happy behind the scenes that he was offed. I hate DC's treatment of the JLI crew starting in the 2000s, but General Glory was a real low point of the Giffen/JMD period and people seemed to want him quickly forgotten.
That arc, while graphic, didn't bother me as much as it could have. It reminded me of when Levitz wrote about a hidden villain in the far future who was killing off all the descendants of 20th century super heroes in LoSH. The only one I remember is that the last remaining member of the Wayne family was working as a security guard before getting killed off.
Robinson killing off a bunch of characters at the start of the volume (like Jared Stevens and Kid Eternity) bugged me more
