>>116000121Newfags who nostalgia the prequels is what's retarded. The sequels beyond the first part were BAD, bu the prequels were full of Grade-Z trainwreck schlock that spit all over anything that made Star Wars interesting or decent. Every second of the writing was retarded. Well, that's hyperbole. Nearly all of it wasn't just shittily written or boring it was fucking laughably terrible in the same way The Room was.
If you saw the prequels as a kid, that badness is good in a nostalgic way. If you saw the originals as a kid and the prequels as an adult, the prequels were like being punched repeatedly in the face. "I like thing that are soft, like you." Like the end of GoT people make entertining jokes about how godawful it was and there were even some iconic or at least fun scene, but it was just incrediby painful to watch.
The sequels were mostly just forgettable as fuck with some scenes that stood out as painful (Leia shit, Rey being Palpy's granddaughter and him coming back, Luke being dissapointing as fuck). The prequels detroyed the core of the originals already by making Vader's backstory retarded, so they couldn't destroy it twice. Clone Wars is a slight redemption, at worst, of the prequels and a big one at best. Rebels was fine.
