Nobody cares, but here are my thoughts on Annecy 2020 feature films that I've seen so far.
>Ginger's Tale
Gorgeous animation, cute girl, story is just okay but overall a good experience.
>Kill It and Leave This Town
It's amazing if you enjoy Polish/Czech movies about life being miserable.
>Nahuel and the Book of Magic
Meh, it's average in just about every way.
>The Nose or the Conspiracy of Mavericks
Kino, but you have to be somewhat familiar with Russian history to get any kind of enjoyment out of it.
>Accidental Luxuriance of the Translucent Watery Rebus
It's an experimental film too pretentious to be enjoyable.
>Lava
Shit animation and shit visuals but the humor saves it. It would have been way better if they had done something different with the ending.
>My Favorite War
One of the best movies of the bunch and a legitimate tearjerker.
>The Old Man - The Movie
Easily the best movie so far. It's a gross-out claymation movie that goes all out. It features a tractor having sex with a tree.
>The Knight & the Princess
It's like one of those infamous foreign Disney rip-off movies, I have no idea how it made the festival apart from being the first animated movie from Egypt. How embarrassing for Egyptians.
>Shaman Sorceress
Compelling premise but the execution as well animation is garbage.
