I don't get this obssession with "10 episodes a season" that animation studios have. Have BS with Rick and Morty, where you can't have a story season with a bunch of wacky oneshots in-between because there literally aren't enough to make each feel anything but token.
Alucard's plot needed a bit more back and forth. Alucard denying the twins knowledge that we knew to be fucked up but they didn't, them acting more "slutty" towards Al-boy to get what they want after they noticed the turbo-autist clearly didn't know how to interact healthily, a bit more back-and-forth between good relationship and manipulation BS. The village plot needed more attention, I think, more exploring the background and trying to understand the "rules" of society after a demonic vampire tried to unleash the apocalypse.
