the climactic kiss between adora and catra is a superior kiss to all other cartoon kisses because they both say "i love you".
"i love you" is the if not one of the most taboo statements. i haven't seen a build up to it like that in any kind of show. i don't have any suggestions for them, but there should be more of that in a spinoff sequel.
my only other thought is that if she-ra is originally from the 80s, it'd be a good throwback for the older audience for the themes and subject matter to be like a don bluth movie. there were some characters that were only secondary that gave the story significant texture that it would never have otherwise had. there is a lot to be said for dealing with death and the importance of true redemption, unacknowledged in a godless world
