Half melted from some alien goo? You're still you.
A telepath, with a single thought, can obliterate you. The slightest change to what makes you "you" is all it takes and you're someone else now. You're gone. "You" died.
They are the most absolute, most destructive form of rape that can ever be done upon another person, they touch the one thing that you have, the only thing you are, and they can take it away.
There is nothing more disgusting, more base, than a telepath.
