There is probably a group of 3 or 4 men and 2 girls that enjoy batman, comics and cartoons. The show is at its best when they get to lead.
Then there are 2 or 3 "woke" straight white women that fetishize gay relationships. They probably wrote gay harry potter fanfics. They probably dated male friends and then cheated on them in high school. One of them might actually be gay. Most of the bullshit comes from them and they get away with it because team A is straight and mostly male, and won't call them on it.
And Ivy is being written as a self insert for one of the team B'ers. She dated a really nice friend. She ended up deciding she was gay. She cheated on him. Her gay love interest didn't react well and had a tantrum.
And things don't make sense in the context of the show because team A is just bolt and gluing comic shit on top of team B's diary come to animation. Whatever real girl Harley is suppose to be copying, probably didn't summon a demon army. She probably took a leadership role at work, got stressed, and flipped out.
Thats why the moral compass of this show is so bad. They are bolting serious business comic book shit onto mundane irl social situations. A lesbian tantrum becomes a demon invasion.
And it sucks, because team A comes up with some ok shit when left alone.
