>>115153367The thing about periods is that they differ from women to women. Some of us have the whole fucking flesh explosion, while others only have some bleeding here and there. Personally I have a ton of bleeding, clumps, and moderate-to-severe cramps.
The ones that make the biggest deal about it are the ones that get the metaphorical Russian roulette bullet and get really intense cramps. Cramps, in turn, are also a spectrum, from mild inconvenience to writhing in pain for an entire day in a fetal position.
If I could insert something for you to consider, is that I feel we as women lack the etiquette to actually see a gynecologist when it gets too intense. Suffering is standard, but there should be a threshold of what should be considered acceptable and what needs medical attention. I heard a tale from one chick that just wakes up to her sheets all red and the only thing she can do is crawl to the toilet to puke due to the pain, like surely at that point meds would help, right?
