>>115155487It was basically going to be about moving around places to get to first. The guy whose first moves down a number. When the number is zero the race is over and everyone gets points on their position. In theme with RR I wanted each race to be a round and multiple rounds determine the winner.
I was thinking that each racer has his own deck with specific cards for the racer and their vehicle. Each character deck has a mix of generic cards and cards just for them.
I've figured out three variables so far for cards: advancement, evasion, and defensive (Tentative name, basically combat). Axle, for example, gets in front and keeps the lead, so his deck would be about getting past everyone and then chipping away at the race counter. Tag is good at passing and stupid stunts so he would be good at climbing spots, from is terrible at racing but he tries to kill anyone near him so he has a lot of defensive cards.
Tracks would have their own cards too. Basically every turn you would play a card and everyone has to play an evasion card or something to avoid a penalty.
That's all I got so far. It's a bunch of ideas without much binding it. I think I could beat out something playable in like eight months.
