>>115042241Early 90s are when things started to improve though, Disney Afternoon and Ren and Stimpy immediately come to mind, the Simpsons had a number of standout animation moments, Batman TAS was a landmark in both good visual design and high quality fight sequences, the Spielberg cartoons while rough around the edges were dramatic improvements overall, and the first seasons of Rugrats were pretty impressive a lot of the time. Again, I can only think of relatively obscure cartoons that genuinely looked stiff and recycled animation a lot, barring the infamous Kennedy Cartoons that shows rapidly dropped because of how out of place and cheap they looked.
