Hugs that lasted for too long, comments that were a bit too strange and incessant (especially in relation to Regina's bottom and her cuteness.) and tentative touches that sway away ever so slightly from what was acceptable. Given Judith's already deep trust for her friend, it made rendezvous and impromptu babysitting especially easy for Kathy to attain with the little imp. Kathy have eventually progress so much that Reggie was totally fine, if not even took a liking to sitting on Aunt Kathy's lap. Even nowadays, when she's getting too big to really fit anymore, Reggie will insist on doing it, to which Kathy happily oblige her.
One time, on a warm summer's day and when Reggie had just recently hit double digits, Judy was called back to work because she left her wallet there, the silly klutz. Kathy, already being there, was entrusted with watching over the energetic ginger like she has done so again and again, always without any real hesitation to accept. That was the day when Kathy introduced "lip-playing " to her, using droplets of spilled ice-cream to begin this little game by saying that since the napkins are too far away in the kitchen, it was only reasonable to use her mouth to clean it away, much to Reggie's hesitance.
She first licked off the vanilla-cookie mix off pajamas. Usually, it would be dirty but luckily, Judy took the time to wash it last night, so Kathy just tasted the cream and the smooth texture of Reggie's youthful skin. Then she travelled to the corner of Reggie's mouth, again under the justification of cleaning, but this moment using more of her mouth to go at it. Then, in a silent moment, their faces just centimeters away, Kathy didn't even bother to build upon the story and just kissed her there.
