>>114807017They did, ages ago. People keep ignoring it and pointing at issue 50 and issue 160 because they're convenient, rounded numbers.
Here's a quick cheat-sheet for you, though.
https://archiesonic.fandom.com/wiki/Ken_PendersDon't read those.
The mostly-goofy stuff is from 0 to 40, with 45 and 59 having two of the last holdovers from that period.
51, 52, 62, 63, 67, 71, 85 are the standalone Bollers stories from before the high school drama stuff, and 86/87 are the Shard two parter.
98 has Spaz's SA2 pinups. 103-105 have a Guardians of the Galaxy parody and some goofy Australia jokes if you want that.
If you really have to read any Knuckles, make it the miniseries and Knuckles 10, 11, Sonic 58, and Knuckles 12. Both stories (Enerjak and Athair/Rob O'Hedge) have mild entertainment value.
111 has a cute, short side story with Rob'O and Antoine's dad. Knowing who they are doesn't really matter. 112 has a cute Antoine-and-his-dad story too.
116 contains several pages of a smut artist drawing two girls beating the shit out of each other if you're into that.
Tossed in Space is absolutely worth reading (126-129), although the first two issues are much better than the last two. Return to Angel Island (138-141) is a must-read, but has very little value if you didn't read all of Ken's dumb bullshit anyway to understand what it's making fun of. Stargazing in 151 is crudely drawn, but it's a good story.
The Tails and Sonic Quest miniseries are worthwhile. Sonic in Your Face, Triple Trouble, Mecha Madness and Sonic Blast all have content worth reading. So do Sonic Super Specials 1, 5 (Total Re-Genesis), 10, 12, and (ironically) 15.
If I didn't mention something, there's a good reason I didn't. Everything of note is in that list.
