Spinel would betray “Rose’s” location to Pink which would require the Crystal Gems to lose one of their bases, and she would be “rewarded” by being sent back to the Garden to wait for her to return.

Unlikely ever.

After being locked in the tower for a prolonged period for cracking Pink Pearl, Pink was sent to the Garden with an intentionally durable Gem. She was given White Pearl at some point, who she treated so gently that Pearl was unafraid to suggest going down to Earth as Rose and later to confess love.

Its unlikely Pink would have ever been anything but gentle.

You could argue Spinel was around longer than that, and endured Pink’s thousands of years grounding in the Garden alone, having generally been a metaphorical chew toy before that, and Pink’s sudden tender change was so wonderful but brief that its the reason she was so dedicated to the game she literally did not move.
