Feeling bored and tired of how small the corporatized web has come to feel, I've been delving into the deeper corners of the internet in the past few months, so I thought I'd share a couple of the things I've found with you all.
For Toonami-related stuff, I found that Something Awful, where 4chan originated, hosts Toonami threads like ours, though the old forum format is a lot more ill-suited to that sort of thing than the imageboard, I feel. I also found a /tg/ IRC channel, which seems to have started on these threads when Toonami was revived. I haven't been there during Toonami night yet, but I'm planning on checking it out. If there's an IRC channel I would assume there are also Discord channels, but I wouldn't touch Discord with a ten foot pole.
I also just came across this Big O fan site, last updated in 2008:
http://www.paradigm-city.com/index.phpThis really took me back. I remember visiting fan sites for Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Castlevania, Golden Sun, and even one dedicated solely to the song "Green Bird" from Cowboy Bebop. Nowadays they're either abandoned or buried in the search results by Wikia trash, but I miss the days when if you wanted information about something you went to a curated, specially designed site full of enthusiastic fellow fans.
If anyone made it past the wall of text and has any similar links, please share. For your troubles, I offer this Big O wallpaper.
