This may seem irrelevant but here's a commentary on the general idea of CLIMATE CHANGE:
The health of the climate is not the problem. The climate will be fine, always, unless every single living organism dies on the planet.
The problem with climate change is the health of humans.
Our society relies a lot on the use - "exploitation," if you'd be so morally inclined - of the environment and it's ecosystems.
Here's where I don't like the moralizing of climate change. It's not "save the planet," like I said, the climate/planet/biosphere whatever you want to call it will be fine. It's "save the planet for huemanity."
If the climate *changes*, that means we can't rely on the climate for food and other resources with such great production surplus margins that allow us to create things like sprawling metropolises and complex global political systems. The response to climate change is like the response to an incoming recession or economic collapse. It's a clamoring to maintain the norm.
So really climate change activists are really status quo supremacists hellbent on keeping the world on it's current path. And if you're someone like me, who browses these kinds of sites, you may have a few
