>>114490591I would first clarify that Aaron's pre-Jane stuff is looked on rather fondly here (or at least the Gorr part) and add to the list of cons
>Pacingthe entire series from Jane is constant build up for War of the Realms and unlike other writers who manage to tell interesting stories while building up to major arcs/events Aaron seems to lake the skill as nothing can really stand on it's own the only saving grace was/is "maybe War of the Realms will be cool"
>PhoenixAaron brought the pheonix back which meant he could continue to butcher it's character (in fact replace this whole point with character butchering in general and add Odin as well as whoever fits into it)
>Bad writingI mean Aaron backed himself into a corner and cheaped out with a literal deus ex machina in the arc right after the reveal where Jane's being investigated for also being Thor, this would be his first arc after all the Titana retardation and his "second chance" which he instantly blew with incompetence. speaking of lets move on to the biggest flaw of his run
>Undermining the central theme/pointThe entire point of Jane Foster replacing Thor was to show him that even the flawed (mortals) can be gods. unfortunately she was then made Jessica Christ flawless and ready to die for our sins. If Aaron was competent writer he would've used
>Plot hole of why she doesn't just take the fucking god medicine if "the world needs a thor" is so important.to give her a Martyr Complex. turning down the medicine would still be completely unnecessary but that's because it would be part of her character flaws. She would still be a hero for doing good but her sacrifice would be revealed to be unneeded and self-destructive.
Overall Jane Thor is/was shit and the stories she was in would've still been shit even if Thor himself had been in them
