>>114430043It's shit-posting, bro.
I'm a Batfan and in every versus/power-level discussion i'm going to say without bathing an eye that Batman will defeat Superman, or Darkseid, or anyone.
Because understand this... power-levels are a bullshit notion. I see people discussing about these things and making complicated mathematics or pulling previous examples from random comic pages as if they meant anything in a genre that's constantly rebooting, retconning, and contracting itself, and the whole thing is just pathetic.
If a author wants Batman will win a fight against the entire Justice League due to some contrivance. If an author wants Green Arrow will win a fight against Darkseid and his army of parademons with a trick-arrow. If an author wants the Question will fend off an intergalactic invasion by his lone self. Because what reigns supreme in fiction is imagination.
Power-level bullshetery denotes people without any imagination that think the outcome of a fictional fight is decided by crunching numbers. Even in real fights a MMA fighter can easily lose to a scrawny kid if the the kid is lucky enough to hit him wrongly on the side of the head.
So that's why i like to use Batman as an example in these stupid discussions because Batman's the go-to guy to end all power-level discussion because he ultimately proves they're pure bullshit. Batman wins because he's Batman and the plot-armor will grant him the victory. Because ultimately that's what counts. What the author wants.
