>>114335559Batman is a moraly black-n-white character that writers keep pushing into more xtreme realism scenarios cause they like their shades of grey bullshit.
I have no problem with Batman knocking Joker unconscious every fucking time. I accept GI Joes never killing Cobra troops. But the writers have to stop making it some big moral victory for Batman. He's not killing cause the writers will never put him in a kill or be killed no-win situation.
Hundred terrorists have hundred babies at gunpoint? Writers will tear reality asunder and patch it up molecule by molecule to find a way for Batman to not kill, but for every other character they would have him make the difficult choice and then have Batman give him a sermon about "the other way".
It's easy to be a moral paragon when you have your own angels in the outfield in the form of writers keeping your hands clean.
Batman's and Superman's no kill rule was just some autistic writer giving an explanation for the self-imposed censorship DC implemented after CCA came into play. Giving it an in-story explanation is fine and all, but stop making a big deal out of it, cause it's empty.
