The Mignogna case is not about opinions but was a case regarding sexual molestation/assault allegations. I believe the accusations were dismissed, but Mignogna is still pursuing legal action against his accusers. I don't pay attention to that.

When you see discourse about Star Wars films, it evolves into one of two directions: Either things become hyperfocused upon a specific film, such as "The Last Jedi" or "The Rise of Skywalker" and the creative teams behind those films; or it extends into a discussion about the Sequel Trilogy, the franchise as a whole, and the executive decisions of Lucasfilm and Disney.
You're not necessarily "part of the problem" if you're complaining about one movie. You're more in line with being part of the problem if you complain about the industry overall.
