>>114292030I thought Bendy was pretty alright, I liked the idea of it really. The creator even said BioShock was one of his favorite games, and I got that feeling from the game too.
As
>>114291573 stated, it had plenty of cool ideas that unfortunately weren't recognized. You had an Ink Maker in the later games that only made tools and junk, very few weapons. It would have been cool to make ink-weapons that would have exchanged damage for durability and vice-versa. You could make submachine gun that could mow everything down in a few shots, but breaks the second it's magazine empties, compared to a wrench that lasts for a decent amount of time.
The game also had a problem of giving more lore too late and never answering it, like FNAF. You get two new characters at the end of Chapter 4, and you get very little information out of them on anything.
An idea I had for the game would have been Henry would have realized he was in a cartoon, or the character in a real-life cartoon made by his ex-boss to help perfect the deformed and insane cartoons that ran around the studio. Like BioShock's twist, in a way.
It would have made more sense then just not answering anything and leaving it all in the air
