I care, anon - unlike /co/, I've always fucking cared about this show and how simple, but great due how it knows what it wants to be and runs with it, which it actually is. I like this show far more than whatever the fuck /co/ obsesses over (which in CN's case is Gay Space Rocks.).
Not everything from CN needs to be like it, but I'd like for more shows from CN going forward to be this good (just like Mao Mao, for another example of something I can actually recommend from CN that's not axed, yet.).

That's probably my favorite episode. I'm glad we see something come from Kelsey fantasy play. Also I like how grounded the whole episode felt, xerox multiple pages, slapping upc codes on them.

Kelsey reaction to the teenagers trashing her book was way to real, and perfectly captured how a kid would probably take it.

The ending with the books by kids for kids was perfect. We see Craig and friends make an impact on his community that feels real and not too fantastic.

For example Kelsey book didn't get picked up by an adult who wanted to publish it.

I'm spending my afternoon getting my COTC collection up to date and in a few hours I'll put up a Mega folder with every episode (with all of them being 1080 web-DL w/ no logo except for the last five already in the thread)
I usually watch the new episodes via my cable subscription so I only remember to download them sporadically but it is the kind of show I can rewatch basically endlessly so I like having copies even if HBO Max will probably have the whole thing indefinitely once it's out

But a runner up would be Vultures Nest. It was nice seeing an episode where Craig, JP, and Kelsey all were equally new to something and had no experience with music. I also liked the lead singer talking to Craig about working through your fears by putting it out in a song was actually pretty good advice.

Music was nice. I actually looked up the band after the episode, surprising more swearing then I thought.

I'd still rather watch this than Gay Space Rocks, anon. This show actually knows what it wants to be. The show you're obsessed over does not and ever really did, sadly. I say this as a former viewer and I'm deeply ashamed of that, as well.

It's not me settling for less. It's me aiming for what I think is more enjoyable to watch / better in my eyes, really.

The cardboard episode was awesome. Absolutely implausible and "unrealistic" compared to the other Craig of the Creek episodes, where the things are limited by the resources and abilities of the kids (cardboard episodes have giant functional mechas and huge underground bunkers), but still fucking awesome.

From what I remember, in the first month or two the threads were a trainwreck because of one or two dedicated assblasted anons who hated the show basically just because it’s about black people. Then after they got bored and fucked off it suffered the same curse as all kid SOL cartoons, in that there’s a solid percentage of the cartoon audience who have no interest in them whatsoever no matter how good they are (which I find interesting, seeing as almost all of us grew up watching at least one or two of these kinds of shows and you’d think someone older who still watches kid-target shows in the first place would have SOME inclinations toward nostalgia)

I think she was somebody who moved to the creek recently and the horse girls found her first. This alienating her from the other kids.

All we know for sure is that they recorded the 100th episode back in January, meaning we at least have forty-something episodes to look forward to.

The only reason some of us are worried the show was cancelled is because of Steve Hulett's latest "Work Around Town" update for Cartoon Network Studios: https://tombcartoonmonkeyskeleton.blogspot.com/2020/02/work-around-town-2020-1.html
