I'd say so. I never saw the ending as a kid, and for years I kept thinking it concluded on a much darker note than it really did.

I watch it every year around Halloween and still have it on VHS, Digital and DVD. A friend of mine did a review of it awhile back, it's pretty bad but here it is.

I don't know who that is but I'm watching some of his videos now. But regardless, I'm just happy as hell because I've been trying to find this for ages, but never could because the only thing I could remember was the candy skulls.
