I just finished watching it on Jewflix, and I consider that it is one of the cutest, harmless and most wholesome things I've watched in my life. Almost everyone in the show comes with good intentions without becoming 1-dimensional characters who only do good and obey the rules, and even the "villains" aren't completely evil (they aren't fully good either) in most cases. I loved the digital paintbrush-like art style, specially when the characters are small and have a chibi style, and the use of Nordic folklore (which I hope becomes more prominent in the second season).
With that said, there's something I don't understand at all. If the show (and the books, I suppose) is wholesomeness incarnate then why is its /co/ fanbase so fucking awful? Even this thread has dozens of deleted posts.
