Who cannot have a crush on Bianca. Her accent is not only so alluring, but her personality combines just the right amount of feminine with feminist. She has an overpowering desire to help others and isn't afraid to risk her own life to do it. When told "you can't have this job, you're a woman, you're gonna die," she gently appeals, and doesn't protest when made to take a partner. But she's a fucking troll and chooses the JANITOR who barely works there to be her partner instead of one of her hundreds of simps. Throughout the movie, she combines courage with gentleness and is almost always smiling, she is the light in the darkness of the world.
Bernard seems more aware of the darkness of the world. He actually is very beta but is still charming that he is determined to do the right thing. Despite being extremely afraid, he often will suck it up and try to protect Bianca and act as the man he is. Their dynamic seems so unlikely that it engages the audience and their romance slipped in thanks to Bianca just being playfully Bianca and Bernard just being unknowing Bernard.
Penny had some shitty circumstances. Before she was kidnapped, no one wanted to adopt her at all. She has no one in the world to protect her or love her like she deserves. Despite this, she still has hope, praying, sending out a message in the bottle.
Rufus the cat seems forgettable, but he was Penny's only friend at the orphanage. He may be the reason she had any optimism, telling her hope is like a bluebird. He also kind to the mice in a world where cats were supposed to kill them.
The other background animal characters didn't stand out as much to me. But I will say the appeal of the chubby fat crocodiles cannot be explained, only experienced.
Mr. Snoops is fucking funny. Honestly probably a fat Jew stereotype. Fat greedy beta who submits to woman.
Bouta talk about Medusa.
