I think every generation grew up watching the original Looney Tunes. Then again I was homeschooled and didn't have cable so I'm not exactly an example of someone with a normal childhood.

For a 1995 proto-zoomer, that's really accurate. As soon as Ben 10 Alien Force and Flapjack came out, it wasn't the same channel since.

You're wrong. It died literally in 2005. Fosters Home was the last good CN shows before the dark era and In feel the first show to kickstart that shitty era was Camp Lazlo which some people like for whatever reason. After that you got your Squirrel Boys, your Flapjacks, and Chowders. That's when CN died. It also died when they stopped showing reruns of Dexter, Johnny Bravo, Power Puff Girls, Cow & Chicken. I would say that was about 04-05. It was already dead by 2008.

Let's put it this way. 2004 was when CN began to decline, 2007 it succumbed to its last legs, 2010 it was revived, 2016 it died again with the PPG reboot and the endless TTGO reruns.

It returned in 2009 though. But from 2005-2008 there was a gap where Looney tunes wasn't on TV.

Ben 10 was one of the best original ideas with tons of potential for a CN cartoon. It wasn't perfect because it didn't expand on many of ideas like in Omniverse. But it was one of the best of my childhood.

Alien Force was the worst of the Ben 10 series because it tried to be too serious and missing the point. The Teen Titans audience was what they were going for and they messed up in both the continuity and aliens after that. After Alien Force, the series never recovered to Man of Action's original idea.

Also I hated how so many aliens in Alien Force were just replacements of old ones instead of being original. Swampfire is a fusion of Heatblast and Wildvine, Echo Echo replacing Ditto, etc.

As someone who has watched Cartoon Network all of my life, this is the correct answer.
Except I don't think it was revivied in 2010, it got a new breath of fresh air with the great cartoons we got but it ended really fast with most of those cartoons either ending too fast (Clarence, Uncle Grandpa) or going in weird directions and/or jumping the shark multiple times (Adventure times, Regular Show)

Shit is certainly dead now, I'm hoping 2020 is the revival decade
