>>113913761>barely relevant characterNow look. Most of the Alternian ancestors are irrelevant. They have been dead for thousands of years, and they have already fulfilled everything they had to. But those actions were important at the time they were made nonetheless, and all of it has contributed to the creation of the final 12 Alternian trolls and their upbringing.
And of course Void players remain infinitely interesting to me. For example, you know how Darkleer's single most significant act in Mindfang's journal was essentially NOT doing something? He was potentially the one who executed the Sufferer, but he was also the one who spared, or rather, did not kill the Disciple. His *inaction* is what caused something really important. Because by sparing the Disciple, he allowed the message of the Sufferer to be heard, and this also means he inadvertently aided the Summoner, and the revolution of the lowbloods against the empire.
Which again, wasn a fruitless endeavor, the revolution was beaten to a halt, but it caused the Empress to exile every adult troll into outer space. Another important plot piece. And so on and so on.
Being a Void player doesn't mean you're unimportant. It's just that your efforts will be largely unnoticed by most. But not all.
