I've never read bloodshot how inaccurate was it?

Also who in their right mind thought Vin Diesel was the right choice? Just because of Fast movies? Maybe 2009 Vin but this was painful to watch

from the looks of the trailer its nothing like the comics. They just took the idea of a guy who can regenerate and who is controlled by some government spooks, then filled the rest of the story with a generic, predictable plot and then also spoiled most of it in the trailer. They basically went the safest way possible and that makes the movie completely void of anything interesting. also vin diesel is miscast.

This is the problem with a lot of comic book/anime/Vidya movie adaptations

They remove what made the series itself and just say what known actor that's hot rn can we cast also make the story as safe and predictable as possible to appeal to lowest common denominator

Literally any other Valiant property would've made a better movie. Harbinger, XO Manowar, Archer and Armstrong, Shadowman. Fuck Bloodshot is so damn basic it hurts.

Harbinger would be amazing if they planned out a couple of movies so they could have Harada implement his actual ideals and explore the universe more.
Archer and Armstrong would be based as fuck if they actually fleshed it out, too.
Quantum and Woody would be great if they gave it to the Deadpool guys or Gunn.
