what if the show was about Gwen getting the omnitrix instead of ben?

how would it impact the show and would the franchise still be as big and popular as ben 10 in our timeline?

Would probably last a season or less.
Only kept on the air becuase muh stronk female lead.
Ben would become an over powered MIB/buck rogers type hero who's more interested in having fun and gaming then helping her save the day.

Would be renamed so that it can be about both of them or the whole family...
Gwen's omnimatrix will either be downplayed or ben given a copy of it.

We had this thread yesterday. We decided that you'd have to put an entirely different narrative structure in place, since the plots of the original series leaned heavily on Ben being impulsive or selfish.

As is, Gwen is way too competent to act as the protagonist, and her competence means that Ben wouldn't even have a chance to play sidekick.
