>>113415587>Imagine my shock to see a hetero on /co/, moreover a hetero with good taste.I admit, it is rare. But I've always had a hardon for such things. When I was 4 or so I'd go to bed imagining of Burlesque Dancers. It's been a while but I'm sort of "coming back to my roots" in regards to tastes.
>Even more impressive. I've always been worried about that. It's one of the reasons why I study what I study at Uni (physics).
>You probably stared out as a /tv/ourist. Both, actually. Got in through /co/ and about a week later I was using /tv/ as well.
>>He's not a role model, but he is an interesting character>IMYou do have a point about him already being "done", character progression speaking. I beleive that you can tell more stories, but in a Cape setting, you're only going in circles. Personally, I'm on my last few months of caring about Capes, so I've mostly delegated him to a memory of a better time, and am actively ignoring whatever "version" is running around. He exists in my mind as an idea, a concept of what could've been, rather than an actual character.
>SpawnI got into him with the Godslayer books, and was pretty dissapointed to find out he's a nog. I dropped it when I read a random issue where he fucked Angela. The book was going in circles even then.
>GRYeah, at this point I just have a soft spot for him based on just the design, and my dad's love of motorcycles.
>And mythology was my fist exposure to fiction so I guess I'm a bit biased for liking such characters. Our early interests always influence our later tastes. I grew up in a similar way too, so I started reading into things like Conan. But I also liked the "Big Brain" characters. Doom is a mix of every single thing I like, so it's why he remains my top.
>[...]I was never able to get into the Asian stuff. Not anime, not movies, not mythologies. I've watched some Iranian films and whatnot, and generally find them more approachable. I have seen/read some Jap stuff, but that's it.
