>>113325465The concept of a cartoon that looks at normal tasks, situations, or settings from a baby's point of view is novel enough. The problem is that they dragged the show for far too long and it more or less became babies doing impossible or impractical things, not to mention their parents becoming so incompetent it was a wonder Child Services was never called on their asses.
In the case of "All Grown Up" it would have been impossible or at least unlikely that the same concept would have worked but with "babies" replaced with "pre-teens". So it kind of tried to be a slice-of-life comedy like "As Told By Ginger" but with an established franchise. It didn't work. The only people who still like the show these days are the autists who have the tenacity to jack off to Klasky-Csupo character designs.
