Everyone seems to pass over just how intensely fucked the common Mewni citizen is. They're practically medieval peasants with no skills to prosper in the modern day, and the few that had an education specialized highly in the use of magic that no longer exists. All Mewmen, especially the ones that don't pass for humans, are just gonna fill slums and ghettos of whatever state accidentally ended up getting dropped in, because there's no way the monarchy is going to remain sovereign and independent when they're trying to claim they're Queens of what was once middle America and they don't have any magic to enforce that rule.

the knights would have killed them, too many to just teleport them away. the only thing they could have done was the universal time freeze but Father Time said they can't use that spell again otherwise they'd fuck the whole universe assuming Star could even replicate the spell since she did it by accident.

It'd be tricky because the knights had them surrounded and probably would be anticipating Hekapoo popping in unlike the first time. Also things were about to get a whole lot dangerous for the whole universe considering Mina finds the Realm of Magic and could have used it to invade literally anywhere. Obviously all of Star's friends would be dead at this point too including Globgor because of the mark, River would probably die too.
