You said this movie sucked, but I just finished watching it and it was great! Not the best of the MCU but certainly in the top half tier wise.

Was all this worry about feminist cringe regarding quick snippets of her past on Earth? Cuz the way people reacted you'd think that was half the movie!

The movie was ok. I started getting into it after she got her memories back.

Most of the backlash came from angry incels and white dudes who were mad Brie Larson told the truth.

There was that deleted scene where Captain Marvel robs a guy for flirting with her. SJWs were mad that the scene was deleted, even though keeping it in would make her look like the bad guy.

Yeah I kinda agree. Wasn't great (although I liked it better than Endgame), but honestly there was more pro-immigration propaganda than there was feminism. If I was a woman, I'd be disappointed (and you know those air force recruiters were). You can tell a whole lot of the people praising the movie didn't actually see it (or only saw what they wanted to see), just as the people who trashed it didn't.

I do like that they actually kept Yon Rogg and the memory problems Carol had from her 70s series, and the Monica scenes were well-handled. I also thought the 90s nostalgia stuff wasn't that intrusive except for some parts of the soundtrack.

I really hope they handle Rogue well in the sequel.

Not only would keeping the scene have made more sense, it would have made the most sense for her to have assumed he was a Skrull and to have killed him.
